Lilly Looking Through looks like a beautiful game.
Mystian puzzles makes it look even better.

Till just now I haven't paid any attention to this game, but after watching the trailer and perusing their website.....Lilly is looking like an awesome game. Very much looking forward to this.

There's a demo on steam for Lilly. I wouldn't call the puzzles mystian though, it plays more like machinarium or the other amanita design games. Cute game but not as complex as the myst games.

    I didn't know that.
Lilly is sounding better and better. :)

If you define it that way, yes definitely Mystian.
But with that last piece of information my expectations went x10000000. Amateria has the best puzzles ever made in an AG.
So they'd better not let me down, otherwise i'll show no remorse for this indie game :D

I hope it's true that Last Crown will be ready by Halloween.
Not sure I believe it though.

It seems too good to be true. It's not listed on pre-order anywhere so will believe it when I see it. It's definitely one of the few games I would buy on release date regardless of price.

When first mentioned about a release coinciding with Halloween the first thought that went through my head was, OK which Halloween. But with all being said I'll remain hopefully optimistic. Those screenshots on the press pack look awesome.

Well, in the coming months we're going to see some of the kickstarter games trickling out:

    Broken Age (Part 1)
    Moebius
    Asylum
    Tesla Effect (Tex Murphy)
    Broken Sword 5
    Mage's Initiation
    etc.

The next half-year or so is going to be a fun ride. :)

I'm sure everyone is familiar with the term 'chick-flick'. Well, when I first looked at Lily Looking Through It, the term, 'chick-click', occurred to me :). However, the painted graphics are amazing and considering Jenny's suggestion of Mystian puzzles and Fien's mention of the Myst Exile Amateria connection, I just may go for it (if I can get around the little-girl avatar and the fact that she's named Lily...).

Maybe she grows a tail and horns like Alice - who knows :)

I just want a new 1st person adventure in the Myst-style, we haven't had one for a long time. I don't care what it is, I just want to play as myself again. I'm a little bit tired of the visual novel style of playing another character, guiding him around and getting him to talk to people.

Are you thinking of a point-and-click or would a 3D-type like ***Obduction*** or ***Xing*** fit your description?
If you want a point-and-click, there's an upcoming game called "La Musica" from the developer of the RHEM games.

But yes, we could use more of them.

Hi all. I come. I go. I stay. I return. I only just saw the new website redesign tonight. How long has it been up? I actually like it. It feels active and engaged and intelligent. At last.

All things Dreamfall, Sherlock, and Myst for me in adventure games. Walking Dead is more action, and I just can't get into the killing. Don't get me wrong, I play Battlefield, Skyrim and a bunch of other action games, but Zombies are like rabid dogs...there's pathos and sorrow involved in wasting them. I get no glee. I'm conflicted. Maybe that's the appeal. I have no idea.

I'm playing Gone Home right now. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing, but I love snooping and peeking in drawers.

Also playing Face Noir, which just made it to Steam. Love it so far.

I'll have to look into Obduction and Xing. Never heard of them.

My heart is pulling me back to Dreamfall for some reason. I love the experience...wish it was free roaming so I could live there.

    Be well.

Oh.....I see I'm a new member now. Hehe. So much for the last 10 years.
